Assembling Eastsheen 4x4x4

In early March, I let one of my cube friends, Chris Joe, borrow my Eastsheen 4x4x4 (also known as Mini 4x4x4). He came back with it stuck and unable to be twisted in June. Feeling lazy, I left it this way for about a month. But now I needed to practice with a 4x4x4, and all 5 of my revenges were broken. Since it's fourth of July, I decided to disassemble and reassemble my eastsheen 4x4x4 to see what was wrong using the DIY kit that came with the cube....

	OK, taking it apart was easy enough after loosening the screws, but...damn you Chris! This is gonna take a while to assemble.... (My deepest apology to those named Chris but not Chris Joe. m(_ _)m) Sunil: I love your drill. Me: Thanks.
	Sorted the pieces.
	1 Spindle How can it have a spindle even though it's 4x4x4? Don't ask me. ^^;
	6 Screws. Sorry about the fuzzy pic.
	6 Central Blocks (screwed on to each end of the spindle)
	24 Center Caps
	24 Inner Angle Blocks (where center caps go on)
	12 Inner Border Blocks
	24 Inner Side Blocks
	24 Edges
	8 Corners
	I'm using a CD on a cup to support the spindle. What? Why AOL 7.0? Um, yeah, long story....
	Placed 4 inner border blocks between the spindle. Doesn't look very stable....
	Placed 8 inner side blocks, one in each space between the spindle and the border block. Sure this is right??
	Screwed the central blocks to each end of the spindle. OK, now it looks stable.
	Hooked 4 edge pieces of the second layer.
	Place 8 inner angle blocks, 2 on the sides each edge piece.
	Place 4 inner side blocks, one in each space between 2 inner angle blocks.
	Form the sides of the first layer with an inner border block in the middle.
	What a smart design....
	Done with the framing of the first two layers.
	In the interior of the U center, place 4 Inner Angle Blocks and 4 Inner Side Blocks, and screw a central block right in the middle. Done with the first two layers!
	Flip, and do the same thing on the other side.
	Almost done...now put the center caps.
	Yay! And it works!

So I really have no idea what was wrong with it in first place. I guess, thanks to Chris Joe for giving me the chance to do this. (I wasted 2 hours on this though. -_-")
